Happy Friday crafty friends.  I hope all of you are well and staying healthy. I'm really tired of being at home but just doing my part to keep all of us safe. It sure is a crazy time right now.

This week, our Cut It Up challenge is: Celebrate Summer (use a summer color palette: turquoise, yellow, hot pink, coral).  We were given some files from our amazing sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, to use for this challenge.  I decided to make one of the gable boxes for my project:
 Gable Box: The Cutting Cafe
Paper: Craft Smith "Boho Tropical"
Yellow Paper: Recollections

I have several friends who have birthdays this summer so I'm hoping to give this to one of them with their gift inside. I think they will love it.

Cut It Up Boys will be Boys! Masculine Project

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all safe and healthy. I found out today that I will most likely be working from home until after Labor Day. They want to make sure that the offices are set up to keep us all safe. I was hoping we would be back there sooner but I guess I'll have to be patient like everyone else.

This week our Cut It Up challenge is Boys will Be Boys! (Masculine project).  Our awesome sponsor Digital Delights by Louby Lou gave the design team some of their digital paper to use for this challenge.  Here is the card I made for the challenge:

Cut It Up Challenge 200 - Shoot for the Stars/Congratulations project with stars

Hello crafty friends! I just finished my 9th week of working from home.  At first, I was so disorganized and felt like nothing was getting done.  Today, I can honestly say that I have a system down and I feel much more productive. I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe through this very crazy time.

On to this week's Cut It Up Challenge:
Shoot for the Stars/Congratulations Project with Stars. This was a fun one for me because we got to pick out a digital stamp from our amazing sponsor:

DRS Designs
Prize: $20.00 voucher to DRS Designs online store
Website: www.drsdesigns.com

I chose the Interlocking Star Background digital stamp.  Please stop by the DRS online store and check out their fantastic selection of stamps. Since I have a friend who has a senior in high school and a senior in college, I decided to make them graduation cards since they won't be able to have an actual graduation ceremony. I feel so bad for all the kids that won't get to walk with their classes at their graduation or go to prom this year.

Here is one of the cards I made:
Cap: Cricut Recess Cartridge
Diploma: Cricut Wrap It Up Cartridge
Interlocking Star Background: DRS Designs (www.drsdesigns.com)
Stamp and Ink: Close to My Heart
Gold paper: Craft Smith
Black Paper: Recollections

Cut It Up Challenge 199 - Friends

Hello and happy Friday! Hard to believe another week has flown by.  I'm really tired of being at home but I know it's what we all have to do to be safe right now.  Even my cat Remy is tired of us being home.  We are disturbing his schedule!  He likes to come into my craft room when I'm in there and fall asleep under the desk.  Right now, my craft room is also my office so he's in there with me a lot of the time.
He's only allowed in my room when I'm in there with him.  I have made the mistake in the past of leaving the door open and there is way too much stuff for him to get into!

This week our challenge at Cut It Up is Friends.  I have actually been making some cards to send out to some friends just to cheer them up during this very difficult time so this theme was perfect for this week.  Here's the card I made:
Prosit die: STAMPlorations (one of our sponsors)
Champagne bottle and glasses: Cricut Celebrate
with Flourish cartridge
Tag dies: My Creative Time
Stamp: Close to My Heart
Paper: DIY Shop
Sequins: Michaels

We have two fantastic sponsors this week for our challenge:

Sponsored by: CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
Prize: $20 prize code
Website: https://cas-ualfridaysstamps.com/

and
STAMPlorations
Prize: $20 gift code

Cut It Up Challenge 198 - Our Beautiful Earth (Earth Day, April 22)

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all doing well and had a very Happy Easter.  It was so strange to have such a quiet Easter this year with everyone staying home.  Hopefully things will start to get back to normal very soon.

This week our Cut It Up Challenge is Our Beautiful Earth (Earth Day on April 22) respecting nature - flowers, trees, animals, butterflies, birds, etc.

I bought this new die from My Creative Time last month and I just love this flower so I decided to use it on my card for this challenge:
Flower, oval and banner dies: My Creative Time
Paper: Michaels and Echo Park
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug
Dots: Stampin' Up
Ink: Stampin' Up

Cut It Up Challenge 197 - Hopping Down the Bunny Trail (Easter)

Hello crafty friends.  I hope all of you are staying safe during this very difficult time in our world. It has been a challenge for all of us but all we can do is stay safe and make the best of it.  I have been working from home but my husband got laid off last Friday.  Hopefully things can get back to normal soon.

While I have been working from home, I have also been trying to organize my craft room (anyone else taking the time to do that too?).  It's a big project but I'm slowly getting there.

Ok, on to our Cut It Up challenge this week, which is an Easter theme.  I made treat bags for some co-workers but since I won't be seeing them in person before Easter, I'm going to bring them to my neighbors who have small kids.  Here is my project:
Topper Die: Spellbinders
Bunny and egg dies: Stampin' Up
Fancy Frame Die: My Creative Time
Stamp: My Creative Time
Bags: Michaels

Our awesome sponsor is: Taylored Expressions
Prize: $25 gift certificate

Cut It Up Challenge 196 Spring Fever (Use at least 3 Butterflies).

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are all well during this very difficult time.  I have been working from home all week and it's tough as I'm sure you all know. I miss the daily interaction with my co-workers.  It's sure not the same to have meetings over the phone.

At least some good has come out of being at home all the time -- more time in my craft room!  That always makes me happy.  Today while I was listening to a really boring call, I was sorting my bling.  I just muted my phone and nobody suspected a thing!

Our Cut It Up Challenge this week is Spring Fever (use at least 3 butterflies).  Here is the card that I made:

Butterfly Dies: My Creative Time
Circle Punches: Stampin' Up
 Solid Paper: Recollections
Pink paper and yellow flower paper: Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Stamp and Ink: Close to My Heart
Pearls: Queen & Co.
Ribbon: Michaels

Cut It Up Challenge 191 - Snow Much Fun

Hello and Happy New Year!  I am so excited that I have joined the Cut It Up Design Team!  The ladies on this team are super creative and I'm very happy to be a part of this them.

My very first challenge is Snow Much Fun!  Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE anything with a snowman on it.  They are my all time favorites.  That is why I decided to make this card for the challenge:
I saw this stamp online and I knew I had to buy it because it's so adorable!  It's a Penny Black stamp and after I stamped and colored it, I cut it out on my Brother Scan n Cut.  I used Lawn Fawn paper for the background and a die cut to make the snow.  The snowflakes are from Cloud 9 Design.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  I also used Stickles on the hat.

My husband bought me a set of Keebor alcohol markers for Christmas and I really liked using them.  There are 80 markers for $30 (on Amazon)!

Our sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe
Prize: 3 sets to one winner
