Cut It Up Challenge 200 - Shoot for the Stars/Congratulations project with stars

Hello crafty friends! I just finished my 9th week of working from home.  At first, I was so disorganized and felt like nothing was getting done.  Today, I can honestly say that I have a system down and I feel much more productive. I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe through this very crazy time.

On to this week's Cut It Up Challenge:
Shoot for the Stars/Congratulations Project with Stars. This was a fun one for me because we got to pick out a digital stamp from our amazing sponsor:

DRS Designs
Prize: $20.00 voucher to DRS Designs online store

I chose the Interlocking Star Background digital stamp.  Please stop by the DRS online store and check out their fantastic selection of stamps. Since I have a friend who has a senior in high school and a senior in college, I decided to make them graduation cards since they won't be able to have an actual graduation ceremony. I feel so bad for all the kids that won't get to walk with their classes at their graduation or go to prom this year.

Here is one of the cards I made:
Cap: Cricut Recess Cartridge
Diploma: Cricut Wrap It Up Cartridge
Interlocking Star Background: DRS Designs (
Stamp and Ink: Close to My Heart
Gold paper: Craft Smith
Black Paper: Recollections

Be sure to check out all the other amazing design team posts at Cut It Up. I hope we will inspire you to join our challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and stay safe.

  1. Great design, Leslie! The scattered stars look fabulous matted with the black and sparkly gold papers. I love the angled focal point.

  2. Hi Leslie! This is really a nice layout and I like how you have angled the inside panel and added the cap & diploma! Very nice card! Take Care!

  3. Very fun design with the background stars; looks so dimensional! Those die cuts are great with the creative fonts!

  4. Leslie, like your card's design and the colors too!

  5. I love your background of stars!! Die cuts are a great added touch too!!
