Cut It Up Challenge #218 - Point of View

Hello and happy Friday to all of you! This week sure felt long to me.  I think I'm just tired of working from home. On a positive note, CA lifted the stay at home order this week so we can go out a bit more.  Still many restrictions in place but one step at a time.

For our Cut It Up challenge this week, the theme is Point of View ~ Use something representing viewing scenes or capturing views! Camera, binoculars, glasses, microscope, telescope, magnifying glass, film, photo, etc.

Our awesome sponsor for this challenge is The Cutting Cafe and they gave our design team some digital files to use for this challenge.  Here is the card I made with their camera card file:

Camera Card Digital File and sentiment: The Cutting Cafe
Paper: I used paper from my scraps

Cut It Up Challenge #217 - Go Back in Time

Hello and happy Friday! I hope you are all well and staying safe. Since we are still staying home, I will be cleaning/organizing my craft room this weekend and I'm excited about that. It's a bit of a mess and my goal is to be more organized this year so I don't spend so much time looking for supplies. I'd much rather be making a project.

This week our Cut It Up challenge is Go Back in Time ~ It may be a new year, but we want you to take us to a decade before the year 2000! You can transport us to your decade via a theme, icon, phrase, image, or stash item. Be sure to tell us the decade!

When I was a kid, my sisters and I loved to make tie dyed shirts so I decided to make a card from the 70s using a tie dyed background.

Background paper: I found on Pinterest. I sized then
used print and cut on my Cricut to print it out.
Card base: Stampin' Up
Tag: My Creative Time
Sentiment: Stampin' Up
Sequins: Michaels

Our awesome sponsor this week is:
 Prize: $25 gift card

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  Here's hoping 2021 will be a better year for all of us. I'm looking forward to having some normalcy in my life again. I miss seeing friends, family and co-workers. I know it won't happen yet, but I'm hopeful it will happen in the near future.

Our first Cut It Up challenge for 2021 is Winter (make a card with a Winter scene). I just love penguins so I decided to use them on my card.

Igloo and snowflake dies: Simon Says Stamp

Pond die: Create a Critter Cricut cartridge
