Hello and happy Friday! I hope you are all well and staying safe. Since we are still staying home, I will be cleaning/organizing my craft room this weekend and I'm excited about that. It's a bit of a mess and my goal is to be more organized this year so I don't spend so much time looking for supplies. I'd much rather be making a project.
This week our Cut It Up challenge is Go Back in Time ~ It may be a new year, but we want you to take us to a decade before the year 2000! You can transport us to your decade via a theme, icon, phrase, image, or stash item. Be sure to tell us the decade!
When I was a kid, my sisters and I loved to make tie dyed shirts so I decided to make a card from the 70s using a tie dyed background.
Background paper: I found on Pinterest. I sized then
used print and cut on my Cricut to print it out.
Card base: Stampin' Up
Tag: My Creative Time
Sentiment: Stampin' Up
Sequins: Michaels
Our awesome sponsor this week is:
Prize: $25 gift card

Love your card, the rich vibrant colors really pop! Although I didn’t do tie dye as a child, my daughter made several when she was growing up.. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWow! This takes me back a few. I love the bright colors and pattern. Great card, my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove the tie dye! We did this at camp every year; I remember coming home with the coolest shirts! I need to do this with my grand-girls; they would love it! Great card with the daisy, peace sign, and of course tie dye...all such great reminders of the '70's!
