Die Cuttin' Divas Favorite 2018 Sketch

Happy December to all of you!  I can't even believe it is December already.  I had a really fun weekend.  I went to dinner with my hubby on Saturday night to a wonderful seafood restaurant.  The food is always so good and we enjoy being near the ocean.  On Sunday, my sister and I went to a craft fair at a new winery not too far from my house.  The products being sold were very nice and very high quality.  After we walked around, we were able to sit at a table outside and have a glass of delicious wine.  It was such a relaxing day.  Now I need to get into Christmas mode so I'll be ready in time for the holiday!

On to our challenge this week at Die Cuttin' Divas, which is to make a project using any of our monthly sketches from 2018.  Here is a picture of all of them so you can pick your favorite one to use:
I decided to make a Christmas card for this challenge:

Paper: Stampin' Up
Truck die: Stampin' Up
Ink: Momento Cottage Ivy
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Snowflake punch: Michaels

Please stop by Die Cuttin Divas  and check out what the rest of our talented design team members have made this week.  I hope you will join us for our challenge.  Remember to use a die cut on your project.

On to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge. This week we are showcasing tags.  I made a non-traditional Christmas tag:
Tag die cuts: My Creative Time
Palm tree and beach house dies: Stampin' Up
Sentiment and Ink: Stampin' Up
Ribbon: Michaels

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge - Thanksgiving or Thanks

Hello and happy Tuesday!  Are you all ready for Thanksgiving?  I am looking forward to it.  It will be quiet this year because my husband broke his heel last month and he is still on crutches. We will stay home and I'll make dinner for me, my husband and my sister. I am really looking forward to having a nice long weekend off of work.

On to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge, which is Thanksgiving or Thanks.  I decorated these cute little pails that I found at a thrift store.  They were brand new and I think I got 4 of them for $1!  That was quite a bargain and I could not pass them up. I made these for my craft buddies and I will see them this weekend.  There is some candy in them along with a small bottle of Fireball.  We all love Fireball!
Pails: Thrift Store
Leaf die: Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge
Scallop oval and oval punch: Stampin' Up
Washi Tape: Recollections

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday.  I hope you all had a Happy Halloween.  We got quite a few kids this year.  The cutest little girl came by my house and she was wearing a princess dress.  She had the biggest smile on her face as she said trick or treat!  I asked her if she was having fun and she said "I'm having unicorn fun"!  I laughed so hard.  She totally made my night.  Ah, to be 6 again!

Anyway, on to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge, which is our monthly sketch challenge based on this sketch.
I decided I better start making some Christmas cards so I made this one using the sketch:

Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes challenge

Happy Halloween (almost).  I can't wait to see the kids at my door tomorrow night!  I'm really looking forward to it.

We are doing an Anything Goes challenge this week.  You can showcase any project you want to, just remember to use a die cut on your project.

I decided to make one last Halloween card for my project.
All the paper and die cuts I used for my
card are from Doodle Bug Designs.

Aren't the paper and die cuts just adorable??  I've had this paper/die set for a while and I was glad I got to use it for my card.  My Cricut was acting up so I'm very happy I had this set on hand.

Please stop by Die Cuttin Divas  and check out what the rest of our talented design team members have made this week.  I hope you will join us for our challenge.

Die Cuttin' Divas Any Animal Challenge

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I had lunch with one friend on Saturday and then breakfast with another friend on Sunday.  I had not seen either of them for a while so it was so much fun catching up.  Nothing like hanging with your friends and having some laughs.  I've known both of them for a long time and I just love when we get together.

Ok, on to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge, which is any animal.

I decided to use a cute dog/cat/pig stamp set that I have.  I don't know who makes these stamps because they were a gift in a clear plastic bag and there is no name on the stamps.  They sure are cute!  Here's my card:
Paper: I used scraps for this card
I stamped and colored the kitties and
then cut them out on my Brother Scan N Cut
Die for sentiment: My Creative Time
Sentiment: My Pink Stamper
Ribbon: Michaels
Dots: Cloud 9 Designs

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge - What Makes You Happy?

Hello and happy Tuesday.  I hope you are all having a good week.  Welcome to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge, which is What Makes You Happy?

For me, the beach makes me very happy.  I love nothing more than taking my chair, umbrella and Kindle and heading to the beach.  I love the smells and sounds of the ocean.  It's very peaceful and it always relaxes me.  My favorite time to go to the beach is September and October.  It's still plenty warm here and most of the tourists are gone and the kids are back in school so I don't have to battle with the crowds for a parking space!

Here is the card I made for this week's challenge:
Paper: Recollections
Beach scene die cut:  A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge
Beach sign: Simple Stories
Sun die: My Creative Time
I added Wink of Stella to the sand but it's hard to see

Please take a minute to stop by Die Cuttin Divas  and check out what the rest of our talented design team members have made this week.  I hope you will join us for our challenge. Be sure to use a die cut on your creation.
