Paper Cutz Challenge #90 and My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day challenge #4

For Paper Cutz challenge #90, Make a card, LO or craft project for Mother's Day, using any colors you’d like

MPS Challenge #4: Make something with a Mother's Day Theme!


For this card I used the Cindy Loo cartridge to cut out my flower at 3.5".  The paper I used is from Making Memories.  I used My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set and Close to my Heart black ink.  The pearls are from Queen & Co. and the ribbon is from Michaels.  And of course, I had to use Stickles on the flower!  Happy  Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day challenge #3

Challenge #3--Make a card, scrapbook page, or 3-D item with a breast cancer theme. You can use a ribbon, make it pink, whatever you'd like.



I was very happy to see this challenge in the NSD challenges at My Pink Stamper today.  This cause is near and dear to my heart because my sister-in-law is battling breast cancer right now as I know many of you are too. 
For my card I used Martha Stewart Holidays cardstock.  I don't remember where I got the paper ribbon border from.  The other ribbon and brad are from Michaels.  The black ink is from Close to my Heart and the stamps are from My Pink Stamper - Family and Friends set and Scrappy Moms - Simple Sentiments sets.  I thought both of these stamps were perfect for my card.  Thank you for stopping by.  On to my next card!

My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Challenge #2

Challenge #2--Make a card or scrapbook page using Kraft cardstock.


For this card I used Kraft Paper from Paper Trey, Inc.  The paper is from DCWV.  I ran the green strip through my Sizzex Texture Boutique machine and used the Swiss Dots folder.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  The sunflower is cut using the Walk in my Garden cartridge at 3.25".  I used a Zig pen to do the faux stitching around the card.  Thanks for stopping by!

This challenge was to make anything cupcake.


I used the Straight From the Nest cartridge for this cupcake.  The paper is from DCWV The Sweet Stack (it has some glitter and swirls on it but it is hard to see in the picture.  The plain paper and bling are from Michaels. Of course I had to use stickles on the cherry!

Cardz TV Mother's Day Color Challenge and Cricut Cardz Challenge #71

This challenge for Cardz TV was to make a Mother's Day card, layout or craft project using only blue, green, purple and white.


For my card I cut out the teacup using Kate's ABCs cricut cartridge at 3.25".  The dark purple paper on the background is from Michaels, the rest of the paper is from DCWV.  The ribbon is from Michaels and of course I had to use Stickles on the flowers!  The sentiment and ink are from Close to My Heart.  I am also entering this card in the Cricut Cardz Challenge #71 - Make a card for Mother's Day using any colors and any cartridge you'd like. Thanks for stopping by my blog and Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there!

Cricut Cardz Challenge Easter Bunny Blog Hop

challenge #69. Create a card, LO or craft project for Easter! 

What a fun blog hop this was, so many talented ladies!  For my card I used DCWV card and paper.  The ribbon is from Michaels and so is the bling for the bunny's eye.  I don't remember the brand of flowers I used.  The bunny is cut from Kate's ABCs Cricut cartridge (a new one and a really fun one!).  The Easter eggs are from Mrs. Grossman's stickers (in my old stash).  Thanks for stopping by.  I had a great time seeing everyone's projects.

Gotta Have Friends Blog Hop

Alex at www.youhadmeatcraft.com had a blog hop today. The theme was Gotta have Friends.  I made this card to link to the hop.  Now I just have to figure out which one of my wonderful friends to send it to!
The paper for the base and mat is from DCWV.  The flower pitcher paper is from Colorbok.  The scallops are cut using the Cricut Cartridge Lacy Labels.  The flowers and pitcher were cut from the Kate's ABCs cartridge.  I inked around the edges with Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink - Pastel Pink.  I used a Prima flower and a brad to ahere the flower.  The stamp is from Scrappy Moms Simple Sentiments, the ink is from Close to My Heart.  Of course I had to use Stickles on the flowers and stems!  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Cardz TV Bunny Week Challenge

For this challenge, make a card, layout or craft project with a bunny on it.
For this card I cut out the Easter egg and bunny using the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge.  I can't remember the brand of the paper I used (it has been in my stash for a while now).  I wrapped some Pink Sorbet twine from the Twinery around my card. I used pink Stickles for the nose.  The ink and stamp are from Close to My Heart.  Thanks for taking a look.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #67

The challenge for this week is to make a card for Spring, using the colors pink, green, and white ONLY, and any cartridges you'd like.
For my card base and butterfly, I used DCWV.  The background paper is from Making Memories Simply Fabulous Collection - Brooke.  The butterfly was cut from the Cricut Bloom cartridge.  The buttons and ribbon are from Michaels.  The sentiment was printed using Segoe Script font at 18 pt.  The sentiment was punched out using a punch from EK Success.  Of course I had to use Stickles on the butterfly!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Spring to everyone.

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge

For challenge #65: Make a tall card (9” x 4”) using any cartridges, theme or colors you’d like.

For my card I used the Simply Charmed cartridge to cut out the chick at 3.25".  The basket was cut using the Doodlecharms cartridge at 3".  All the paper I used is from DCWV.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  The ink and the stamp are from Close to my Heart.  I punched the base for the sentiment out using an EK Success punch.  The cute eggs and flower are from Recollections.  Thanks for stoping by my blog!

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop


For this challenge we had to make something Spring.  I think everyone is ready for spring!  I made a simple card using DCWV for the base and dragonfly paper.  The striped background paper is from Making Memories.  I cut the dragonfly from Create a Critter (still one of my favorites!) at 3.25 inches.  The ribbon is from Michaels and the stamp is from Scrappy Moms Simple Sentiments set.  The ink is from Stampin Up.  I added Martha Stewart glitter glue to give the card some bling.  Thanks for stopping by.

Throwback Thursday Challenge #175 and Paper Cutz Challenge #81

For both the My Creative Time Challenge and the Paper Cutz Challenge the theme was to make a project for St. Patrick's Day.  I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge to cut out my shamrock and then inked around the edges.  The background paper is from DCWV.  I embossed the light green paper using my Cuttlebug.  I added ribbon from Michaels and then added some bling using my IRock tool.  The stamp and ink are from Close to my Heart.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Paper Cutz Challenge #80

This challenge was to make a card, LO or craft project for Spring using any colors.  My base card and paper are from DCWV.  This stamp was given to me by my friend Ann and it is from Daisy Kingdom.  I colored in the stamp with my chalks and then used Fun Flock (Cotton Ball White) by Stampendous on the bunnies (kind of hard to see the flocking).  I used Stickles on each of their shirts.  The stamp and ink for my sentiment are from Close to My Heart.  Thanks for stopping by.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #63

The challenge for this week is to make a card for St. Patrick's Day, using any cartridges or colors you'd like, but NO Shamrocks!  I cut the beer mug out at 3.25 inches using Smiley Cards Cartridge.  For my card I used DCWV paper for the base, Colorbok paper for the background and My Mind's Eye Home paper underneath my sentiment.  I punched the border pattern with a Fiskars border punch.  For the beer mug, I used DCWV Glitter cardstock matstack.  I embossed the foam on the beer using Divine Swirls embossing template and my Cuttlebug.  The buttons are Button Ups from Sticko.  For the sentiment, I used Segoe Script at 16 pt.   Hope all of you have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Cricut Card Challenge #62 and Linda's Creativity Challenge

For this challenge we were to use a cup image from any cartridge and use any colors.  I cut the mug out from Gypsy Wanderings.  It's hard to see but I cut the heart out again and used pop dot to raise it up a bit.  The pattern paper I used is from Basic Grey, the solid paper is from DCWV, and the ribbon is from Michaels.  I embossed the light blue in my Cuttlebug using the Seeing Spots embossing template.  The stamp is from the Friendly Greetings set by Hero Arts.  For Linda's Creativity Challenge, the project had to have embossing on it.

Paper Cutz Challenge #79

This challenge was to make a project for a child with a Western theme.  My cowboy is from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  The cardstock is from Michaels, the background paper is from DCWV.  The ink is from Close to my Heart and Colorbox Fluid Chalk.  The stamp is from Scrappy Moms Stamps (Simple Sentiments).

Cardz TV "All about Spring" Challenge

This challenge was to create a project that makes us think of Spring.  When St. Patrick's Day arrives I know it is only a few days until Spring arrives so I decided to make a St. Patrick's Day card for this challenge.  I used an A2 card, the background paper is from DCWV, the  stamp is from Michaels and then I used chalk to color it in.  The rhinestones are adhered using the irock tool from Imaginisce.  The ribbon is from Michaels. I used Warm Green Color Box fluid chalk inkpad to ink around the edges of the white mat.  The sentiment is printed from my computer (Segoe Script 16") and then punched out using an EK Success punch.  Thanks for taking a look!

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday Challenge

Valentine Treat Boxes (Thank you Mary at Cardz TV!)

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge (Just Because Cards with stamped sentiment)


For this card I used the Just Because Cards cartridge to cut out the pig and pink background mat.  I ran the pink mat through the Cuttlebug to emboss it.  The card base is kraft paper from Paper Trey Inc.  The green background paper is from K & Co. (Marcella).  I used a black pen for stitching and a white gel pen to add the dots around the edge.  Hard to see it but I put Stickles on his feet and tail.  The "Hello" stamp is from Hero Arts and was stamped using Close to my Heart Blush stamp pad.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #59

For this challenge Mary had us make a Valentine's card for a child.  I used kraft paper from Paper Trey Inc. for the base and Martha Stewart Holidays paper for the mat.  I cut the bear out using Create a Critter cartridge at 3.25".  I cut the heart out from a differnt cartridge but I can't remember which one! My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge

 It is Robyn's birthday today so she decided to have a birthday challenge!  I made this birthday card using the Forever Young cartridge.  The paper is from DCWV and the ribbon is from Michaels.  Of course I had to use Stickles to bling it up a bit.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set and I embossed the background paper using a Cuttlebug embossing template.

Cardz TV Cupcake Challenge

Mary at Cardz TV is having a Cupcake Challenge.  For this challenge we have to make any project with a cupcake on it.  I used kraft paper for my card and cut out my cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge (3").  The paper is from The Sweet Stack from DCWV.  I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the orange paper.  I added some Stickles to the heart on my cupcake and I used a white gel pen to do the outline stitching.

Adding New Life to my Old Cricut!

I have been admiring the Cricuts that Walmart is selling since they came out on Black Friday.  I love the colors and the flourish designs on them.  Since I could not afford to buy another Cricut right now, I decided to decorate the one I have.  I used the Elegant Cakes cartridge and cut out this design on pink vinyl.  I love the way it looks and it only cost me a couple of dollars to make!  Now my old plain Cricut has some new life and color to it!

My Pink Stamper 2011 Design Team challenge

Robyn at My Pink Stamper has two more openings on her 2011 Design Team.  I decided to submit my card for consideration.  The challenge requirements stated that we must use our favorite Cricut cartridge and have pink, brown, green (and another optional color of our choice) on the project.  For my card I used Create a Critter (my favorite!!) to cut out a butterfly at 3 inches.  My background paper is from Close to my Heart, the green part of the butterfly was cut out with DCWV glitter paper to give it some shine.  I used rhinestones from Studio 18 for the eyes and the buttons are Button Ups from Sticko.  The word cute! was stamped using Close to my Heart Chocolate Ink and the stamp is from My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set.  Hope you enjoy my card, thanks for stopping by.
