Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!  It's time for our Die Cuttin' Divas challenge and this week it is Anything Goes.  These are usually my favorite challenges because I love seeing the amazing projects you all make.  The good news is it can be anything you feel like making.

I needed a gift card holder for a birthday.  I saw this cupcake gift card holder on Lori Whitlock and just knew it would be perfect for what I wanted.

Die Cuttin' Divas Christmas in July

Hello and welcome to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge, which is Christmas in July.
It was fun to make a holiday project this week.  I know some of you have already started on your Christmas cards for this year, but sadly I am not one of you!

My project is called Bow Basket and it's from the Give a Gift Bundle from Dreaming Tree.  I used Craft Smith paper from the North Pole Gazette paper pad.

Die Cuttin' Divas Lots of Layers Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday.  I'm so much happier this weekend than I was last weekend.  We had  normal temperatures again (84) and much lower humidity.

Now on to this week's Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge, which is Lots of Layers. Our super awesome sponsor this week is Dreaming Tree.  They not only will be giving one of you a prize for this week's challenge, they gave all of us on the Design Team our choice of files to use for this challenge.  If you have never tried Dreaming Tree SVG files, you should really check them out.  They have beautiful files and lots of instructional videos on how to put their projects together. They also have lots of free files if you want to try them out.
I picked the Give a Gift Bundle for my projects.  There are five items in this bundle.  I made two of them for my projects.  First is the Dainty Gift Bag.  I used Close to My Heart Blossom paper.
The second project I made from the Give a Gift Bundle is the Flat Top Gift Box.   I used Close to My Heart Seaside paper.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Die Cuttin' Divas "Add a Circle" Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday.  I hope you all had a good weekend.  It was so hot in San Diego this weekend.  It was 103 degrees at my house on Saturday and Sunday it was 98.  We only have one portable air conditioner in our house so we put it in the living room and watched movies all day on Saturday.  It wasn't quite as bad on Sunday so I made my way into my craft room to make my project for this week.

This week our challenge is to add a circle to our projects.  Here's the card I made:
 Paper:  Scraps and Recollection
Animal Dies and sentiment: Lawn Fawn "Wild for You"
Scalloped Circle Die: Lawn Fawn
Sequins: Michaels

Our awesome sponsor this week is:
As you can tell from my card, I am a huge fan of Lawn Fawn!  I hope you will stop by their site and check out all the cute things that they have to offer.

Die Cuttin' Divas Butterfly Challenge

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  It's been very cloudy here in San Diego this past week (they call it June gloom!).  I'm ok with it because that just means it hasn't gotten really hot yet.  I'm not quite ready for the 90-100 degree weather so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

This week our Die Cuttin' Divas challenge is Butterfly.  I made this cute box and I'm going to put some chocolates in it for my co-worker who has been really helping me out lately.

Butterfly box: Cricut CTMH Artiste Cartridge
Paper: Close to my Heart
Glitter paper: Craft Smith
Bling: Queen & Co.

Die Cuttin' Divas Embossing Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend.  Mine was fun.  I had a crafting day with my friend Joanne.  We were crafting for 12 hours!  We laughed a lot, had some good food, lots of chocolate and even a margarita!  Time always flies by when we are crafting.

On to this week's challenge, which is Embossing.  You can use either heat or dry embossing on your project.  I made this card for a friend who will be moving across country in September for her job.  She is so excited to get her dream job, but we will all really miss her.  She is someone I became friends with through crafting.  It's amazing how many wonderful people I have met and become friends with through my crafting.
Paper: Recollections
Scallop Circle, Scooter and Road dies: My Creative Time
Heart Embossing folder: Darice

I am sponsoring our challenge this week.  The prize is this

Die Cuttin' Divas Teacher Appreciation Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday crafters!  I hope you had a great weekend.  Mine was spent with some crafty friends at a two day retreat.  We laughed a lot, ate chocolate, laughed some more and we also made some paper crafts!  Those girls are so much fun and it was just what I needed-- crafting and time with friends.

This week's challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is for Teacher Appreciation.  Nobody works harder than teachers and they deserve to be acknowledged.  Here is a treat that I made for the challenge:
I found this Hershey Bar holder on Lori Whitlock's website.  The apple is from Cricut Plantin School Book cartridge.  The paper is from Close to My Heart.  The stamp is from Hero Arts and the ink is Memento Tuxedo Black.
