Cut It Up Challenge #351 - Happy Birthday

Hello crafters and happy Friday. It sure has been warm in San Diego lately. While some of you are having freezing temps, it has felt like summer here! I'm ready for the temps to drop back down to the 70s again. It's too soon for summer weather.

Our Cut it Up challenge this week is Happy Birthday. One of my friends at work has a birthday soon and she loves wine so I saw this card on Pinterest and thought I had to make it for her. I saw this card on mochafrapscrapper's page.

Cut It Up Challenge #350 - By the Sea (Ocean, Lakes, River)

Hello and happy Friday! I hope you are all staying safe and warm in the crazy weather everywhere. We had lots of rain (and some hail!) this week in CA. It's also cold here (well, what we consider cold!) I think some of you would enjoy our "cold" weather!

Our Cut it Up challenge this week is By the Sea (ocean, lake, river). I love this stamp set from Newton's Nook so I decided to use it for my card.

Seagull stamps/dies: Newton's Nook

Cut It Up challenge #349 - This Makes Me Happy

Hello and happy Friday! I hope you are all staying warm if you live in a cold weather part of the world. We had unseasonably warm temps this week in San Diego. It was 86 degrees here yesterday. It felt like summer had arrived early. Today it was back in the 70s, and I am very happy about that. Much too early for summer!

Our Cut It Up challenge this week is This Makes Me Happy. Living in CA, one of the things that makes me happy is to spend a day at the beach. The ocean definitely soothes my soul and helps me to relax. I decided to make a beach scene card that I will send to my friend on the east coast who has been having extremely cold weather. I hope she feels the sunshine I'm trying to send her with my card.

 Stamps/Dies: My Favorite Things
Sun die: Spellbinders
Cloud stencil: Lawn Fawn
Wave stencil:  Newton's Nook
Markers for coloring: Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend

Cut It Up Challenge #348 - My Heart

Hello crafters! Happy Friday to all of you. I'm ready for another weekend to spend in my craft room. I have been trying to clean up and purge. It's a long process since I haven't purged in quite a while. I shared some products with folks in my neighborhood on the Buy Nothing app. They were thrilled to get some crafty items and I was happy to share with them.

This week our Cut It Up challenge is My Heart. Here is the card I made:

Background cutting plate: Gina K Designs
Cat die: Stamps of Life
Balloon Die: My Creative Time
Sentiment: Stampin Up
Hearts: Trinity Stamps
Paper: Stampin Up
Ink: Concord & 9th

I hope you will join our challenge. Remember to use a die cut on your project. You can check out all the other amazing design team projects at Cut It Up.

Cut It Up Challenge #347 - Use Your Favorite Die/Set

Happy New Year to all of you. I hope you enjoyed your holidays and had time to relax and maybe do some crafting.

Our first challenge for 2026 is to use your favorite die/set. I have had this treat bag die for many years. I reach for it often when I am making treats. I just started making Valentine treat bags for my co-workers. I work with some amazing people and they always love when I make them crafty gifts.

 Paper: From my stash
Treat Bag Die: Lawn Fawn
Heart Die: My Creative Time
Sentiment: Close to My Heart
Ribbon: Michaels
